Use the _ for the spaces.
So Marcus_Aurelius and Campus_Lagae for example.

i tried that, doesn't work tho... T.T
In Three Letter names you do this:
Nicanor_Of Sparta
Also, you need to put it in quotes.
give_traits "Marcus_Julius" "Trait" 5
Obviously, You need to do a little digging int he game files to see the names of the traits.
cool i tried that for fun and didnt woked...i iwll try ur way clone
"Hoti to kratisto" - Alexander of Macedon
well i have the entire list of the traits and ancillaries, just that when i key the cheat in, it appears as character not found.. oh you need the quotes? i'll go try it thanks
nope, doesn't work either...

In my experience you only need to use their first names. example: give_trait "Nicanor" or "Marcus"
It depends and is a big game of guess and check most of the time

Well, for Nicanor of Sparta, you'd need to enter "Nicanor of_Sparta" or "Nicanor of Sparta" Sometimes, you don't need the underscore. And always put the character's name in quotation marks. Sometimes, the character's first name will do, other times, you'll need to enter first and last name like "Gaius Julius" or something. The only trouble I've had with names, are when characters have names like King David or Prince William or something. Sometimes, "David" or "William" will work, but usually, everything I try is in vain. If I was lucky enough to remember that character's full name before they recieved the "King" or "Prince" or "Baron" , etc... then I enter it such as "David (last name here)" and it works. If a character has a title like Nicanor the Brave, entering their first name will work. So enter give_trait "Nicanor" Brave and it will work.
hmm thanks for the guidance, will go and try
How about roman characters with 3 names? I'm playing with EB, and i cant seem to get the cheat to work for my roman characters. I've tried many combinations, e.g. "Spvrivs Vedivs Gordio", "Spvrivs Vedivs_Gordio", "Spvrivs_Vedivs Gordio" and plain "Spvrivs". Any suggestions?
beats me.. the cheat doesn't work for my char's with 2 or more names =.=
Try "Spvrivs_Vedivs_Gordio" or mix and match names like "Spvrivs Gordio" "Spvrivs_Gordio" "Spvrivs Vedivs" "Spvrivs_Vedivs" etc... Just keep trying all possibilities. The game has to identify him somehow, so there is a way to enter that character into a cheat. Also, look up the names files in your data folder. Sometimes the names in the game are not the actual names the game identifies the character by.
