I just uninstalled MTW2 and patch, deleted SEGA folder and then reinstalled MTW2 then put in Kingdoms. It installed with no problems, but it takes a little while.(about 45min. all together)

Does that mean that Kingdoms doesn't load over Patch 1.2?

Okaydokay. Thanks Lusted, looks like an uninstall and reinstall job then.

I've read elsewhere that LTC 3.1 runs OK with the Kingdoms as well, which is cool, as I've a good Byzy campaign on the go at the moment, which I don't want to lose.

I uninstalled everything, then reinstalled M2, the patch, then Kingdoms - took forever! No problems here

Wait sorry misread your post, Kingdoms will install 1.2, or at least it did for me at work. Thought you asked whether it had 1.2 in it

Sorry for the confusion. I already have Med 2 patched to 1.2. I was asking if Kingdoms can be loaded directly on top of my existing copy, because the previous post seemed to suggest that it couldn't.

No doubt I'll soon find out - either way.

Well for me i had to patch up again to 1.02.001. Because it didn't install over 1.0 [deleted the original game becasue i was still running on the leaked out patch] That didn't work so this way l I kept all my mods which are all still playable.

when updating I got this message updated from 1.02.001 to 1.03.000, so if you got this message as well you are on the right track.

CHears everyone for all your help, I uninstalled M2TW and deleted the old mod folders and reinstalled the game and I got the game later today (hurray!) and installed it in about 25 minutes which after reading so posts of it taking hours I was rather pleased about, and so after a few hours of game play no bugs to report and everything is A OK! Great Game, Great Maps and some Kick Ass Factions, I love to slaughter a Native full stack army stuck in the center of a small city by the cannons placed on a hill over looking the city, damn Im having a good time killing all those Mayans!!!
