is their any way to change the roman factions colors?ie swap julii for the brutii colors

i really hate green lol. odd i know but i love playing the brutii is their any way to change the brutii to the julii colors ie the red? i fuigered their is as all the roman factions are all the same ,just diffenrent colors any help would be wonderful

Yes. I'm not a modding wiz like many of the people here, but I'm pretty sure you could do that without too much trouble. Inside the export models battle file it will list a line for texture. For all the roman units it will have a line like

roman_Julii, (here it will list a link to texture)
roman_scipii, (here it will list a link to texture)
etc.

You should be able to simply swap the name of one faction for another in order to change their appearance in battle. Changing the unit cards would probably be more complicated.

Hope that helps. Make sure to back up the file before editing, and try it on ONE unit first, to see if you can get it to work. Then expand to more units.

If you're just going to use the exact colors as the Julii, it shouldn't be too hard. Lots of files to change, but not very complicated changing. I'm not sure, though.

ah thank you both for taking the time to reply i havent tried it yet as my pc has been down all this frekaing time turns out power supply went so we just put the old one in why i didnt do that in the first place i dont know either way thank you for replying i would have replyed sonner but pc was dead

Or if u simply wanted the brutii to be red and did not mind the juli being blue u could cut and paste the citys in desc_strat from juli to bruti and vise versa, but of course this will not change the, symbol, or strat map units.
