Ai sucks

has anyone else had this problem...???
me and my brother played a seige, we defended. The Ai had a cannon and a ram.
So we started the battle and waited and waited and waited. nothing. nothing for 5 min. FIVE!!!! WTF what does the AI do in that time, make a cup of tea!?
if it's planning then it's the worst planner ever

Also the battles last only about 1 - 2 minutes once in combat

i know alot of times they walk their whole force up to the wall with the ram and then if a lucky arrow shot sets it on fire they don't back away, they continue to stand there and take fire from your archers/towers.

i've won a few battles against 1500+ armies without a single casualty this way.

but yeah, there are some decent mods that improve the quality of the AI to some extent. If youre interested in pursuing that route.

For a moment before I read the post I was tempted to try and find O'RLY? and YA RLY! pics.

But yeah the vanilla AI sucks at attacking, and when I sally out.
