    Default Bribe allies armies?

I read somewhere that it is possible to bribe allied armies. I tried this playing as the Julii. At the beginning of the game I wanted to hamper the Scipii advancement on Sicily, so I tried to bribe an army on the island, which didn't have a family member, but the bribe option didn't show up on the diplomacy menu. Can someone help me out here?

I think whoever wrote that was wrong. As far as I know, you cannot bribe allies.

Try it with a non-roman faction, I believe you can but you can't do anything openly detremental against your roman allies.

Yeah, you can't do anything against your roman allies until the civil war. I'm pretty sure you can't bribe allies though.

I think you can only assassinate your Roman allies, no bribing them. But I think you can bribe normal allies.
