Same game, different DC, whats goin on...?

I have a question, I have been playing the game for a good 2 months with my friends copy, I had to give it back as he was having withdrawls so then I went out and bought my own version, same settings just different CD. But the actual game seems to run a lot slower where as before it was smooth with a siege now its chunky as, whats happening… any1?

Did you un-install his version?
If you did, did you delete all the registry info and all the left over files...etc?
If you did un-install his version, did you remember to patch your game to 1.2 after re-installing?

Have you installed any other programs lately?

Are you using a no cd crack?

Have you done a virus scan lately?

Have you changed any hardware drivers lately?

Its really hard to tell what the problem is since it's a performance drop; It could be anything.
