anyone know how to solve an unspecified error?

well everytime i try to do this one battle i get an unspecified error. does anyone know what causes it and how to solve it?

This isn't the tech support forum, but I get this crash randomly in Vista and I'm angry that CA didn't fix this in Kingdoms. If you're running Vista and hit this crash in the middle of battles, you can try going into your preferences.cfg for Medieval II Total War and set your event_cutscenes prefernce to 0. That works for some people, but it hasn't worked for me.
