What is the unspecified error? and how do you fix it?

well i've been encountering a lot of "unspecified errors" recently and they always seem to happen right before a large battle where there is around 1500 troops total. it also happens a lot during city battles. is there a connection between this and my video card? and if so should i get a new video card or just put the graphics settings in the game on minimum.

I also have this problem and read in the faq about deleting the descr_geography file but I cant seem to find it. This happens in nearly every campaign battle I play and I was 5 minutes into a quick battle when it suddenly crashed. (This is with Kingdoms installed so it is all patched)
