Game Freezes During Battles

I'm playing an America campaign as the Aztecs, and for some reason, right when I'm about to win a battle (usually with the odds against me), the game freezes. While this doesn't happen often, it has happened twice, and usually under similar circumstances. It happened to me just a few minutes ago, when I was going against 2 full stacks. I think it might have to do with getting a Heroic Victory, but I'm not sure.

I checked the log, but it doesn't seem to give me any information on what may have happened:

Does anyone have any clues on what may have happened, and how the issue may be fixed? I don't really know what's causing the bug, so I can't really try to recreate it. I do have a save of right before the battle, but I can't guarentee the freeze will occur again. If someone wants to check it out anyway, I'll attach it to the post.

Does anyone have any clues on what may have happened, and how the issue may be fixed? I don't really know what's causing the bug, so I can't really try to recreate it. I also have experienced this. It has happened to me twice and only while playing the America's campaign. The first time it happened I was able to shut down Kingdoms via the task manager.

The second time I actually just alt-tabbed out of the game when it froze than alt-tabbed back into it and it seemed to sort itself out and unfreeze.
