install problem

When i start installing there is error pop up said 1.03 updates cant be apply to 1.00 updates, and then it cancels the installation, so what do i do to install the game?

Its not needed, you should be fine installing Kingdoms ontop of M2TW with latest patch providing you don't have unpacked files for modding or any other serious tweaks to the original game.

Have you installed Patch 1.2 prior to installing Kingdoms?

Yep Im getting the same freakin thing. Only mine says it cant update 1.03 with 1.02 installed. Nobody seems to have an answer on the totalwar forums.

i only have patch 1.1 install on medival total war 2. so yeah but im way confused and is there like a way i can find to delete that file and resinstall everything? cuz i deleted everytihng and re did and it still says that.

okay when you did the uninstall...did you uninstall from the game launcher and then uninstall from the control panel?

I found uninstalling (MTW2) from the automatic launcher, unistalls it from the Windows registry.

i didnt even have patches or mods but it still gave me error messages. luckily it works now after reinstalling everything. i only installed crusades campagin though fearing somehow it'll go fudge up again.
