HELP!

When I try to play multi player an error meesage comes up saying "Log-in Failed, Incorrect CD-Key" I signed up for game spy and I know I wrote the CD-key correctly on install because the game runs. I hope I don't have to uninstall the game, because I played for a couple of weeks before trying to go multiplayer and I don't want to lose that data. PLZ HLP!

I believe the game works irregardless whether the correct key was used (or so I've read priorly) however on line doesn't. You may want to double check the key in your registry, O/0 B/8 I/1 5/S etc etc

Correct; double check the key in the registery (start > run > regedit; navigate to HKLM/SOFTWARE/SEGA/Medieval II Total War/) for simply mistakes that we all make, like 1s for Is, 0s for Os etc

okay this might sound like I am clueless but when you say start do you mean the start menu on my comp or start the game? And I can't find anything that says regedit!

I mean that you have to click on the start icon, select 'run' (hotkey r) and type 'regedit' (without the 's). That will open up the registry browser, which you can then use to navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\ and make the necessary changes to the 'CDKey' field.
