Just downloaded Kindoms . . .

. . . on D2D, that is! I feel pretty stupid, too, because I kept checking my email for the activation key, when it was in my D2D account the whole time! Guess it's been a while since I was this excited about playing a game.

So far, so good. Whole download process took one evening (overnight), and was ready to unzip by morning. I played a little this morning, but then I had to go to work (I'm there now!). I plan on playing it long and hard when I get back home, but for now, here's a first-glance review.

All of the campaigns look pretty awesome and I like that we get to play every faction, without limitations. I also like the new historical battles, which also allow you to play any faction that's in the skirmish!

It ran very well, but M2TW ran pretty well on my system, too. I guess I'm one of those people who've never understood all of the CA bashing that goes on. I think they normally do a terrific job, and this expansion is no exception.

Granted, I haven't played the game for longer than ten minutes so far, so this post will be updated (and have tons of screenshots!). Stay tuned . . .
