7.4, actually.
But the process is simple and fast, my download speed isn't all that bad either.
Can you download it and still have a hard copy mailed?

No, I'm pretty sure D2D only does downloads.

Check out the support threads. I kind of wish I had gotten a retail version, even if that would mean waiting a few more days.

Just change your country of origin in the details section of your profile. It worked for me when I wanted to download "only available in NA" games.
it;s so slow download speed![]()

Yeah, I remember the first time I realized you have to download from Fileplanet, and by coincidence I have a subscription. On my Uni connection I had about 700-900KB per/s.
I had the entire Oblivion and the KOTN downloaded from there and also IL2 Sturmovik.
Be aware!!! the patches come a lot later than the hard-copy versions, and you cannot use the patches that were made for the hard-copy version!
You will need to get their customized patch!!!
Usually a 2-3 week delay!

Well my download got restarted, so I'm going to eat the $30 and get a hard copy from GameStop (Evariste assures me they'll have it, I think) and then just mope about losing 30 bucks.
Not going through D2D again, especially if mods won't be compatible with their version. No thank you.
Edit; Ah, Horsearcher, your warning comes too late. But now I am older and wiser...
Mate, shouldn't say that here even though you did pay.
Very frustrating though, I agree with you fully.
Augh...my ISP is choking my bandwidth. 70 hours till download? I'm e-mailing them in an attempt to get a refund and I'll try and pick up a hard copy tomorrow.
NEVER BUY anything from D2D. They are absolutely terrible, with horrendous support and you have no reason to use them when Kingdoms is on Steam.
You guys do realize D2D never released the 1.2 patch? Why would you buy from a company that didn't even support the original game.

Lol, I used D2D all the time on aforementioned uni connection. Think about it: you're bored out of your skull and can't sleep, but you have an insanely fast, unlimited connection and four hundred pounds a month (excluding student grants) for "supplies". D2D is fantastic for standalone games that you have no intention of touching again - GUN etc.
But I concur with others: DON'T buy from direct download sites when it comes to expansions, patches etc., let alone mods. Grab Kingdoms from the store or get next day delivery.
