2 unique vassal questions

I couldn't find the anwser to this anywere. So if anyone here knows....
1. Is there a chance a vassal state will betray you?
2. If a faction that becomes your vassal has it's own vassal does this vassals vassal become your vassal? It doesn't show on the diplomacy screen so I just wanna know if their vassals provinces count as yours.

Yes Vassals can betray you, dont know about the second one though.

When I was England, Scotland was my Vassal. They tried to reclaim Edinburgh after about 30 turns. So yeah, they will try to gain independence from you in the long run.
