    Default can't have peace

    I have rev. France.
    I'm at war with Great Britain for 8 years.
    I have captured all of their provinces in the Atlantic and the Caribbean.
    I have blockaded 65% of the British isles.
    War score is 55%.
    I'm offering them white peace, and they are not accepting it.



    Any ideas?

    I've been having similar problems... damn France, Aragon and Spain never surrender even when the war score is over 60 in my favour. They won't accept anything, not a white peace, nor a tribute worth 3 points. @_@
    Does not make sense... If my homeland were captured under the foot of a superior military I would seek terms of surrender. White peace is far too generous and yet they refuse it.

    How much of a navy and army have they still got? If it has got a lot of men and ships, the AI thinks it can still win a war. Stupid AI...
    Most of the times it helps sinking all their navy, then they'll accept they have no chance.

    I have 180.000 army and 95 navy(50 threedeckers)
    They have 120.000 army and 20 navy

    OK, I made it. I have peace at last with Great Britain.
    All I had to do was to capture London.
