Why aren't these working

Hey,

When I get offered a chapter house of a knightly order the building doesn't show up, and I get offered it again in subsequent turns. It takes about 3 turns before the building actually shows up. Then when it finally does, the building doesn't allow me to build any new units? Is it supposed to be like that?

Also the game tells me that towns are ready to be upgraded (I assume from wooden walls to stone ones), but the option to build the next wall upgrade doesn't become available. Is there an event which triggers these newer wall upgrades??

I assume you're playing the latest version - PDER v0.4. If so, the building showing up is strange. Never heard of that before. I'll look into that.

As far as no units, in order to recruit any Hospitallers you need to wait for the "Hospitallers Founded" event which should take place between 20 and 45 years into the campaign - so no later than 1125. Let me know if you're still unable to recruit after this time.

Yeah, there's a Stone Wall event that should take place between 35 and 65 years into the campaign - so no later than 1145. Again, let me know if this doesn't occur!

I think I'm at year 1108 so it makes sense that neither one of these triggers would work.

Question: Why do I get the chance to get these buildings if the orders haven't been invented yet?

I am running PDER 0.4 yes. It is weird, but it only occurs for the chapter houses of the knightly orders. Could it have something to do with the fact that the triggers for their existence hasn't happended yet?

The building not showing up can happen when you click on 'OK' but don't have enough funds. In that case you don't get an error message and obviously the building will not be added to your town.
