CB playable on BI

well following florin proposition in just add -show_err -mod to my CB BI target shortcut.
but davide.cool said "CB is not compatible with BI"
so i just try it, C:\..............\Casus Belli\RomeTW-BI.exe" -show_err -mod
i only played a few turns with carthage until now, and it seems to work fine.
so CB is playable on BI engine, which i believe will give a more agressiv IA. i would like to have the opinion of CB team if possible...

when i decided to quit the game i got this message:
Script Error in date/export_descr_unit.txt, at line 7668, column 18
Invalid ownership type'armenia' found in unti 'steppe horde chosen warriors'.
This horde unit has been assigned to a non-hording faction (armenia)

no, u used the bi exe but not the barbarian engine to function the game. in c:\.............\CASUS BELLI there is the rtw 1.5 + casus belli not rtw+ bi+ casus belli

thanks for answer but still have interrogations maybe could u explain a little more.

see what i did:
installed RTW Gold Sega edition
installed CB
created a new BI exe shorcut edited as i explained in previous post

so when i start CB with the new BI exe, if i click option in the CB menu i can see v1.6 in the right up corner. so i presume that i playing CB on BI engine, but u said that i only use BI exe. ( in short i can shoose to play CB from RTW exe and from BI exe, is there a difference between the both???) ( i see that my BI file is not modified in my CB directory folder, so is that why u mean that CB is not using BI engine to function the game)

1) whats the difference between BI exe and barbarian engine to function the game ?, as u said
2) whats the difference runing the game from RTW exe and BI exe ? does the IA change?

just to say that if u play CB from BI exe and that u play a roman faction, it is possible that u will not get the roman civil war...still to be checked...

we never recommended to play with the bi.exe because the game has been created for rtw 1.5 not barbarian invasion. u play at your own risk.
