    Icon1 increasing units morale

    Hi everybody.

I have been playing MTW2 for two days now and fought about 15 battles WINNING THEM ALL... it's kind of boring after a while (specially after two days lol)

What I used to do in RTW which used to work perfectly was to, on the units.txt file, increase the morale of ALL units by 5 or 10. but on this game I cant find that file.

Could anyone plz tell me where it is of what I need to do so I can edit that?

    Thanks

Run the unpacker tool, D:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\tools\unpacker > and there are two batch files run them, and then it will unpack (almost) all files neded for modding. And another thing, when you extract them, delete descr_geography and descr_geography_new. Than go to export_descr_unit and change the number at stat_mental line for unit you want to encourage.
Looks hard but it isnt .

How does doubling the moral of all units make the game harder?

ALternatively you can download the modmaker folder which will give you the necessary cfg files and whatnot. Than you can just download the "export_descr_units.txt" file. It's posted a few different places here, I think in moding resources.
Unpacking all the files takes a long ass time and eats about 7 gigs of hard drive space. THe file you want (the EDU) is about 450 k

mm, sounds interesting... I don't mind the 7gigabites but if there is an easier way of doing that, then I might just give it a try.

    Thanks
