Okay, I tried to play multiplayer and I signed up for game spy but whenever I try to log in it says "improper CD Key" or somethin like that. What do I do?

same thing happened to me i have a real game and everything wtf up with this

yea, it told me exactly this "Log-in Failed, Incorrect CD-Key"
is there a way we can re-type it in because maybe i typed it wrong, or do we have to re-install. because if thats the case than screw it, because it took me an accumulative 4 to 5 hours to get the game in the condition its in now, including installion, patch download time and patch installation, and im guessing add a few minutes on to uninstallation.
I'll just play mods to make it more interesting.

start > run > regedit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\
Put the correct CD-key in the CDKey field there; make sure not to confuse 1s and Is, 0s and Os etc.
All letters must be uppercase.
