the long road keeps crashing

Hello i have a small problem after i installed "The long road" mod ,it works fine up till i go to fight a battle it loads up and i get a 2 sec glimpse of the battlefield at which point it blacks out and returns to desktop arghh any ideas as im a a complete dunce ?

If you unpacked the game, make sure you delete the two geography files as stated in the readme.
