    Default Computer falling apart

    .... Ugghh

Its bad enough having a outdated computer, even if I just have to deal with it till december when im getting a pimped out new gaming computer

problem is thats over 3 months away and my computer is falling apart around me.

Constant random ctds, norton and adaware expired months ago and I do not have the money to renew, almost maxed on 180 gigs of memory, and in medieval 2 total war campaign map is lagging like crazy (sometimes it will be fine then itll freeze for about 10 minutes...)

(anyone know how to get the specs out on what my computer has as video card and such?)

Basically im willing to spend a bit of money in order to get this computer to not fall apart for just 3 more months.

Let's just hope they were fascist communist kittens who were on their way to international fascist communist fair.

Uninstall norton and whatever adaware you have, install the free Version of AVG and the free version of Adaware and Spybot. Uninstall any unused programs, download CCleaner (google it) and run it.

Start -> Run -> type "dxdiag" without the speech marks.

Do you still have the original windows CD? If the worst comes to the worst might I suggest a reformat?
