Solution: How to bypass the launcher!
Here is a solution for all those who had problems with the launcher in Steam. In the Valve\Steam\SteamApps\common\medieval ii total war directory there is a Launcher.exe and a medieval2.exe. Normally you can't run the exe, but the steam program looks for the launcher, so all you have to do is first, back up both .exe files. Then delete the Launcher.exe. Finally rename the medieval2.exe to Launcher.exe, and problem fixed, now when the game starts it will just start it without going to the launcher, hope this helps some of you guys!
