Default A tale of two cities - the Rules (concluded)

Milan and Venice had a bitter enmity. The two cities were each other's most deadly enemies, and were eacheager to destroy the other, by war or other means. However, both towns had a problem, namely the Mafiosos. Could the towns survive as they battled it out, sending players to each other's cities in the hope that they were scum? Or would one city emerge triumphant...

    The Milanese;
    Estlander
    Paladin
    Arakorn-Eir
    Feliks
    Spartan_shame
    Sapi
    Shyam Popat

Each town is a separate game in itself. Each day the the town may either lynch another player or deport them with deport;soandso as opposed to the usual vote. You may not deport and lynch.

If a town player is deported he becomes a good member of the other town. The scum are united and will always remain scum. The first town to rid itself of scum wins, scum win if they manage to subdue at least one town, but if they get 2 subdued they get a Supa Winnah.

I will send out roles; please confirm by PM.

Trust me, if they lynch you, it'd be a kindness compared to what we'll do to you if you set foot in our city

If that happens I'll go out singing "We love you Venice, we do, we love you Venice, we do, we love you Venice, we do, oooh Venice we love [/lynched]".

When do we start this exactly?

Oh and how will it work, will there be separate threads for the two cities or just one big thread?

I thought this would be, like, the Republicans as townies trying to root out and guillotine the hangers-on from the ancien regime. Although I guess that would only focus on one of the eponymous cities.

The scum are a united family, but act independently in each city, which will be a separate thread

    Okay...

How many kills do the scum get per night, and does that depend on all of them being in the one city (ie. will deportation actually work as an anti-scum tactic)?

This is like a sober person talking to a load of drunks. That being, I am almost clueless to the rules. But I'll gather as we go along.

I'd like to request a clarification:

How does this work with voting? Say some of the town votes to deport, some to lynch. Are those just counted separately? Do you need five votes to lynch X or five votes to deport X, with a mix not counting until you get a majority for exactly one option?

You need all votes for the same option.
