I'm really looking forward to this game. It looks like a GTA4 of the 50s and that's what I love. It's coming out August 25th in Australia.

Wish Steam would have had an extra DLC like the other big merchants, but oh well, got the Digital Deluxe version instead. Too bad I'm on vacation for 3 weeks when it releases, it's going to be painful! Been waiting for years.


P.S. Don't expect GTA IV in the 40s/50s, it is really not. It's very linear and sticks to a story line, there is no multiplayer, you can only fool around in between missions, just like the first Mafia. It's still up in the air if it will have an unlockable free roam in the end, haven't heard anything definitive.

I've watched a lot of videos on it and it does look very similar to GTA. Although it does seem a little more focused on just the missions instead of fooling around bashing people and taking their money.

I used to love it in GTA 3 when I used to get the M16 and go to the top of the parking lot near the central garage and just sit there with the M16 and an RPG and shoot anything and everything.

Bit worried about some of the best bits from Mafia being cut. I quite liked changing gears myself, and other little details like that. Still, being able to choose clothes and paint jobs should compensate.

Also, I want Free Ride and Free Ride Extreme NAO! So sad they've been cut.

They will have arcade and simulation driving, so I'm sure they'll have the option for shifting gears and stuff, don't worry.
