Flashing green flags?

I played a battle last night as the English against the Moors, where incidentally I slaughtered over a thousand of them with 8 units of Longbowmen and 4 units of Armoured Sergeants, but towards the end of the battle, all the unit flags of my remaining units started flashing luminous green?

Is this normal, I don't remember it happening before now? :hmmm:

The battle did result in my General getting 4 xp points and his command going to 8 stars so I thought it may be something to do with that...

Anyone know why they flash green?

They usually only flash green if your unit is in the vicinity (sp?) of a rotting cow carcass from a trebuchet...

Ah right thanks, they did have a lot of artillery knocking about.

It affects moral quite considerably, probably why your General got so many command stars post battle

Luckily I'd already broken them by the time the 'cow' happened. Then, the now famous Alfred of Tisbury, just went hacking through the ranks of their routing artillery crews to victory

Do you find its easier to break the enemy ranks after dropping the cow on them? To me I find it makes no differance at all.
