Unless you`re actually playing a short campaign where you`d had to outlive macedon and maybe thrace(in previous versions at least it was thrace) which you didn`t do I think(thrace in RTR is bactria) you should have won. You seem to have all the required regions, the number of provinces...
    I have no idea.
As a personal curiosity. What year are you in?

I just realized something, you are all playing the long campaign aren't you, not the short campaign? If you are playing the long campaign, the victory conditions are for the final turn of the campaign, which would be the Summer turn of 1AD. If you are not at this point, you will not have met the "long campaign" victory conditions. The long campaign victory conditions apply to completing an entire campaign, from Summer 280BC to Summer 1AD (for RTRPE).

If this is too long a game to play, I would suggest playing a short campaign. Or am I forgetting something concerning playing short or long campaigns. Short campaigns end either on the Summer 1AD turn or when you meet the conditions for a short campaign victory. Long campaign I thought you have to play through to the end, Summer 1AD for RTRPE, survive that long and meet the long campaign victory conditions. Its been a long time since I played Vanilla RTW, so I'm a bit rusty on this and may need updating/correcting.

From what I remember(haven`t played in a while either) you can win the long campaing when ever you want/are able to. Meaning hold 50 provinces and among them some that are specifically described. You don`t have to reach 1AD unless it`s something new....to me at least.

I guess I don't remember then. I never had this problem myself. I haven't played RTR Platinum in a while now, nor any RTW mod or game.

I'm currently building myself a new RTW mod though, using a new campaign map. I've completed the major work on the campaign map. It now works with out error with the RTW game engine. All that's left is a review and some editing of provinces (regions) of the campaign map.

I'm building my new mod to make use of the "-mod:" switch feature. It will be based off the files of RTR Platinum, but I'm giving all its files a complete rewrite, and will add in a few new units, along with adding 3 new factions, plus a bunch of campaign scripting. My 4tpy leadership system is getting a complete overhaul and upgrade, to take advantage of the new factions I'll be adding, along with several new ideas I'm interesting in trying out. Not sure I'll ever release it, since I'm building it for own enjoyment. Its giving me something to do while I wait for "Empire: Total War" to be released next year. I'm also in the process of building a new gaming computer for myself and another for my son.
