Well, have you changed anything in the data files? Are you sure you installed correctly? Post as much info as you can about your install so we can better assist you.

well i installed it from a site called strategyinformer.com. i followed all the installation steps. i put all the files in my medieval II folder in the SEGA folder. i didn't change any files but i do have another mod i someitmes play. however, i had previously installed TLR awhile ago before i had the mod and it did the same thing so i uninstalled it back then. Its still doing the same thing though. i do have patch 1.2, do i need some kind of addon for it to run under 1.2?

No the addon is optional and most mods are put into seperate mod folders so they dont mess with other mods. What other mod are you using? If your other mod changes vanilla files and doesnt have a seperate mod folder then you will need to uninstall that other mod, you may even have to reinstall the game, then patch it, then add TLR 2.0, then the addon if you want blood, (Which I suggest if your computer can handle it, go with extreme, personal prefrence). The key here is does the other mod have a subfolder or not.

Another thing I just thought of is have you unpacked any of the files. I did a while back and it caused all kinds of problems. I had to reinstall and go from there.

I have the same problem. The only file I edited was the one that determines turn length. I changed it a while back to 1 year per turn. I will try an reinstall to make sure I have no other mods.

Edit: Think I might have found a fix. I'm not sure if I got the 1.2 patch. I'm going to repatch and see what it does.
