Default L1 and L2 and Voltage of an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor (5000+)

Hey Guys, just a quick question.

I installed an AMD program to show me some stats of my CPU on my G15 Keyboard, and something kind of alarmed me. It listed underneath the name of the processor:

    L1 256K & L2 1024K
    Voltage 1.35V

If it matters, the other information stated is:

    Core Frequency 2600 Mhz
    Mem Freq 400 Mhz
    HT Freq 1000 Mhz

The Voltage seemed a bit low to me, but that's about as much as my overclocked X1900XTX, so it's sensible, but it was the L1 that really drew my eye. I am forgetting what it is, but I think it's one of the dual cores, yet for it to be so dramatically low, 256k instead of 1024k, especially as I am assuming L1 is the first core (Which may be used the most), I am thinking somethings wrong.

My PC's been having a lot of problems with feeling slower than it should be, and having slowdowns despite a good framerate (Basically, it feels more like a Ram issue (I have 1 Gig of it, two 512k sticks) or a CPU issue than a Video card one), and I am wondering if this is an issue, and if so, how I might go around to fix it.

I know it's a newbish question, I've just completely spaced on if this is the norm or not, and I'm wondering if I should be expecting to have such a low L1 cache and a huge L2 cache.

    Thanks

All of that is perfectly normal, the cache is just how it should be lol. All it is is swap memory used directy by the processor which is about 1000 times faster than RAM so it doesn't need to be that big The voltage also seems ok, (lower than I thought the high-spec AMD's were but ok lol). I can't remember what the L1 and 2 are used for respectively though but anyway that is all perfectly normal If your PC is slower than normal then just try the usual defragmentation, virus scans and run CCleaner now and then.

L1 is level one cache, which is the fastest and most expensive sort of memory you can get short of actual registers. L2 is level two cache, which is still much faster and more expensive than ordinary RAM, but slower and cheaper than L1 cache. It would be bizarre to have as much L1 cache as L2 cache. As far as I can tell, 256 KB is top-of-the-line as far as L1 cache goes.
