Have to take the money where it is: at the poor. They have little, but they are many. Alphonse Allais
Hey, need a little help. I have added named general, that spawns after script. It seems to work ok otherwise, right picture, name, etc.., but stratmap model is wrong in-game, what could cause this? Thanks in before hand if someone finds time to answer.
Edit: Nevermind, problem solved.
Gigantus, there are missing very important pictures in the tutorial, try adding new ones![]()

Just a few comments about the tutorial.
1- milkshape can export to .obj which is preferable since it doesn't give you a mesh that is lying down
2- in the rollout besides the selection pointer you can choose Geometry so that you're able to only select the mesh and not the bone helpers
3- there is no assign button, you assign the vertex to a bone by changing the abs value to 1,0, check the rigid option if you want the model to work in game.
4- after assigning the whole mesh to the bone_torso I had to select every mesh group independently and make the bone assignment, since I for some reason couldn't check the rigid option when I had the whole mesh selected, maybe it just happens with my version of 3Ds max (2009)
can somebody please explain step 4.3 or attach a picture of assigning verticles,i do not understand only that part![]()

Is there a tutorial on how to accomplish this in just Milkshape? Everytime I convert my model back to a CAS and test it in the game the model is horribly, horribly warped as if none of the vertices are attached to the proper bones. I've never had this problem with models on the battle map.![]()
Like this one? Just make sure you are using GOAT 1.1 for your converter.
