    Default Messed up cd... help?

Ok so I've had rome ever since it wa released and so with that there have of course been an accumilation of little scratches over the years. And as of yesterday my disk is no longer getting anywhere past the starting load screen for the RTR mod. Illegal question removed.

Um, Cd's would have nothing to do with mods not working. You Probably installed the mods wrong.

The only thing RTW uses your disc for is to check that you actually have a legal copy of the disc when you first start the game. After that it does not use the disc at all. So if you can get to the main menu of the game, or even the intro movies before them, your disc is fine.

Also no cd cracks are illegal and are against forum rules i think just try re installing the mod, also you can pick the game up for like £10 easily in the UK so its not a huge expense to buy again (i did)

TubbZ the fact you said "no" instead of "know" makes your sentence have a completely opposite meaning lmao

Asking for cracks, warez, or anything of that kind is not permitted on these boards and strictly enforced. Considering I think this was an honest mistake I'll leave this open for now - please do not make the same mistake again.
