Slower firing?

What do i have to alter to reduce the speed of which stone towers fire the arrows. At the current state, they shoot like machine guns, i want to slow them down. Thanks for any help.

I am not sure about this but I believe you have to edit the descr_projectiles file. I think the game just sees them as archers, or for larger walls ballistae.

I know i have to edit descr_walls.txt but what exactly do i have to tweak?

Open descr_walls.txt in your data folder. Scroll down to towers section and change all the lines that look like that:

	tower_straight
	{
		roman_city_wall_watchtower
		reload_ticks_arrow 5
		reload_ticks_ballista 10
	}

Just increase the numbers.

I changed to 20 but its still too darn fast.
