how to place a fort

...at the beginning of a campaign?

I want to have some units garrisoned at forts at the start of the campaign. I got the coordinates and placed the units there but how do I create a fort there?

I'm not sure if this only works with BI but:

1.Go to the bottom of your descr_strat, under

start of regions section

2.type something like:

fort 49 150

the numbers are obivously the coordinates. Sorry if this dosen't work

At the end of the descr_strat file, add this:

; >>>> start of regions section <<<<
region Byzacium <- internal name of the region where the fort must be placed
road_level 0
farming_level 0
famine_threat 0
fort 	81 34 <- fort coordinates: beware with the terrain type
fort 	84 35

You can also add watchtowers with the same procedure.
