Also try and discuss why your time at TWC has or has not changed your outlook on religion. Who were some of the most influential posters concerning your religion?

1) The creation of the world is the most marvelous achievement imaginable.
2) The merit of an achievement is the product of (a) its intrinsic quality, and (b) the ability of its creator.
3) The greater the disability (or handicap) of the creator, the more impressive the achievement.
4) The most formidable handicap for a creator would be non-existence.
5) Therefore if we suppose that the universe is the product of an existent creator we can conceive a greater being — namely, one who created everything while not existing.
6) Therefore, God does not exist.

More religious. May I ask what research is for?
Oh, and it has made me more religious because whenever I needed to research something and turned to Al Quran for guidance, it always provided perfect explanations and strengthened my beliefs.

I lost all faith in God and Christianity, not solely, but due in a large part, to debate here.
I guess I have become more philosophical *having converted to Buddhism), and less religious.
Darth Wong, a master of many years ago, pretty much single handedly converted me three years ago.

He who joyfully marches to music rank and file, has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would surely suffice. This disgrace to civilization should be done away with at once. Heroism at command, how violently I hate all this, how despicable and ignoble war is; I would rather be torn to shreds than be a part of so base an action. It is my conviction that killing under the cloak of war is nothing but an act of murder.

Less religious.
Becaws logic just overpowers faith in my eyes.

In contrast to the efforts of tiny Israel to make contributions to the world so as to better mankind, one has to ask what have those who have strived to eliminate Israel from the face of the earth done other than to create hate and bloodshed.
My time here hasn't added anything to my religion, but it has given me a lot of motivation to study more of it on my own. What I know and understand about religion and spirituality, I taught myself.
What I learned about debating such things, I learned here. The hard way.
The most influential TWC member in this regard?
Most definitely Ummon.
Thanks for the kind mention.
To return on topic, no change has occured in my religious views. On the other hand, I have learned a lot of interesting things.
If you believe in God, it is doubly important to study. First you must study to learn to be a better man, which is accessible to both atheists and believers, though a believer intends "to be a better man" as a form of adherence to the will of God, second you must study to understand what is in truth God's will.
Convincing has many meanings. If you mean that I don't think that your Islam is respectable, on the contrary, your submission to God is highly respectable, and your intent to understand as well. But respect (mine, anyone's) alone leads nowhere. Only you know what rings true to your heart, the world on the other hand is complicated, and extreme attention is to be payed to whichever part of our faith touches our neighbour. So indeed, you as a man will decide if others will perceive your faith as true or false. And I do not intend people who are easily misled, but those who honestly search for answers.

I think that the relatively little time I've spent in the EMM has actually strengthened my faith, because I've actually had to consider some issues I hadn't before.
That's not to say it hasn't brought up some doubts.

Well, it's made me more "buff" in my factual knowledge of the Catholic Church...
Faith-wise, not so much. It's pretty much stayed the same.
Stayed the same, I was fanatically Anti-theist in the first place, TWC just gave me more firepower then I had before. (I'm proud to say that the arguments I have come across here has lead to three new ex-Christians)
No difference. I ruminated upon, researched, discussed religion and God and faith and spirituality for many years before I came to the decision that it was time to make a decision: and made a conscious choice to exercise faith. While people about me here argue incessantly over the existence of Deity or otherwise, it just doesn't bother me, because I can just talk with the Man whenever I like. He is real for me and that is all that matters. I would not give away what He has done for me just so I could regress back to the way I was. Besides, He is never far:
(Acts 17:26-28).From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. For in him we live and move and have our being.
I think TWC has changed me from being a hardcore Athiest to an Agnostic.

I think I voted the wrong option (less religious). I remember I wasn't religious in the first place. It has certainly made me more moderate. In the end, I'm rather indifferent to 'religion'. All that quarrelling ... Let people decide what they believe themselves as long as they don't want me to believe it.

I guess less religious. Never was very religious but now I have found others who are like me.
'Vague awareness of something other but appalled by the meaning of existence' before, during and I assume after. MasterAdnin makes me stroke my chin thoughtfully. I no longer believe in the existence of Ferrets.
TWC had an affect on my view of religions all around because it exposed me to different world views and their stark contrasts. I mostly have learned more about Islam and other religions. Much of that is MTW2 itself, it made me more interested in Islam although a video game doesn't do a 100% good depiction of it especially when in MTW2 all the time they say the word "Infidel" every two seconds.
MasterAdnin and Jankren both have had effects on exposing me more to Islam.
Rush Limbaugh and Thanatos offered their views on Christianity, although the way they have done it would seem to be politically incorrect sometimes.
Chaigidal (sp?) had some effect on my view of Judaism.
A little from Erik in terms of Atheism I think.
Anyan though when he was here, he really offered me much in terms of Native American spirituality even though he is Lithuanian. Perhaps in his past life he was a Native American, and I respect Native Americans and their beliefs so much. It is sad to see Christianity come and destroy their religion and way of life, hopefully one day the world will respect the ways and religion of all the world's indigenous peoples as mankind figures out that they had much to teach us but we did not listen.

this has no effect on my faith at all--- but it has been a good place to satisfy my need to speak about god. god is all I think about, so its nice to bounce it around other human minds.
I have not had a discussion that displeased me on these boards, there is always a wide range of valid opinions especially on the question of god :O
