I need to downgrade my version from 1.5 to 1.2, how can I do this?
I'm making a RTW movie but I need to go down to v1.2 because that's the version where rendering works. So how can I go from v1.5 to 1.2?
Also, it says whenever I try that it has already been updated to v1.2 but I check and it clearly says v1.5. What's the deal?

I usually install patch 1.2 other patch 1.5 but this sometimes doesnt work for everyone, i believe thats because their games came with 1.5 whilst mine was brought with 1.1

Reinstall the game it will go to 1.0 and install 1.2 UNLESS you bought Gold Edition then there is no way as it by default comes with 1.5.

I was trying to render my cinematic video (made with the cine editor) but I know you can't render with v1.5, so I wanted to go down to v1.2. I guess that's not happening...I'm smacking myself. I don't want to dare downloading it from the net for fear of malicious software and I don't want to use FRAPS because it lags my computer down to a crawl.

Delted the whole game and empty out your folders in programs.
go to the start menu then selet run and type in "regedit"
open that and then press ctrl+f
serach for the creative assembley and delete all references to it
Do this carefully and you will be able to install an earlier version of RTW and have it work correctly, you will need to find a 1.00 version somewhere like ebay though (the 3 cd version should still be 1.00 I think)
