Default Overclocking and how to go about it safely

I've been told many times that the CPU/Mobo I'm getting lend themselves to overclocking, but I've no experience in that area and I don't want to fry my PC! Can you guys give me some tips as to how to go about it safely?

    My future specs:

    Mobo: GA-P35-S3
    CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 1.80Ghz Socket 775
    GPU: ATI X1950XT 256Mb DDR3
    RAM: Kingston 1.Gb 240pin DDR2 PC667Mhz PC5300

Also, here's a good temperature guide I found for the C2D. It also links to a good Intel tool to use while overcloking.

You have one of the most popular overclocking mobo's out there, run a search on google and you will find tons info. Also you have one of the most talked about processors in the overclocking world in terms of how far it will clock from stock.

I have limited internet access right now or I would be happy to throw out a quick guide for you..
