URGENT: Comp resets at windows boot

Alright well I finished installing the new hardware for my comp. I powered up, everything worked nicely it seemed.

I can get into by BIOS fine, I ran 2 passes of MemTest and my RAM is fine. However, when I try to boot into WindowsXP, my PC just restarts. I can get to the screen where I can select how to start Windows (Safe Mode, Normally, etc.), no matter what I choose it reboots. Any ideas on what this can be? I tried clearing the CMOS and changing around the RAM DIMMs, nothing seems to work. Need some help...

Also, if I switch the boot HDD to my secondary HDD, it says "could not find OS" or whatever, so it is definately reading that the OS is there on my HDD.

I had the same issue it turned out that my primary boot drive was messed up. That and my hard-drive crashed, not so sure if its your in case though but what your describing is the exact same thing as me.

Alright I'm running a disk integrity check from a disk I have. We'll see what happens in an hour or so...

Any luck? Almost sounds as if the startup files are corrupted - it might be worth your while popping in your XP CD and running through the 'repair' options that they offer...

Yeah that's what fixed it Sapi, just finished installing all the drivers.
