Console Window wont open!!! Help

I posted this in General

After watching 300 i wanted to play RTW. I recently got a new computer and did not install RTW so i did. I patched it to 1.5. i wanted to see the spartans so i wanted to use some cheats in campaign, but the console window will not come up. I looked in control options and its not there. i have tried different factions, cap lock, shifting,or just `~ key. NOTHING WORKS

Help!

Er... try the key above the Tab key. It makes the '`' character.

I have a [~`] key and i used this keyboard b4 on my last comp. And it worked on my last Comp

You said you got a new computer. What is it? What is the OS, VISTA? DX9 or DX10?

I have heard that even though DX10 runs DX9 programs some people have said they encounter strange program function and have downloaded and installed a seperate copy of DX9, they can supposedly co-exist on they same computer, how I do not know, beyond my abilities.

I have the same problem, worked before, with this keyboard on a dif computer running XP, now it doesn't now that i'm running Vista. I don't think it's a keyboard problem.
