    Default Latin American revolution: Total War

    I want to make a mod about the revolutions in Latin America.
    The mod will take place in the begining of the 19th century, when, after the overthrough of king Ferdinand the VII by Napoleon, the Spanish colonies in south and central America started rebelling.

    Factions:
    Greater Colombia(Rebelling)
    Bolivia(Rebelling)
    Peru(Rebelling)
    Argentina(Rebelling)
    Paruguay(Rebelling)
    Chile(Rebelling)
    Brazil(Rebelling)
    Spain
    Haiti
    Portugal
    Great Britain(unplayable)
    Holland(Unplayable)
    France(Unplayable)
    Republic of Texas(Emergant)
    The US(Emergent)
    Mexico(Rebelling)
    Panama(Emergant)(Rebelling)
    Mayan Rebels(emergant)

    The factions categorized as "Rebelling" are the factions which start with a war against Spain or Portugal. They also start with a single city, but with a large support of the population from the region and a relatively large army.

    WE NEED MODDERS, MAPPERS AND ANIMATORS!
    ALSO RESEARCHERS WIL BE VERY WELCOME

    Wow this must be splendid .But mind you ,the spanish should have better but less in numbers units .This must have been the reality back then . I also think the french must be playable because they did try to conquer the world at the time period and the revolutionary France was indeed responsible to a big extent for the rebellion in these colonies .
    Congratulations for the idea .
    However I have no idea how will you make so much different units for all latin factions appearing .It seems as - if you make a colonial war mod -between the great powers +the emerging Lat.Countries (as 1 rebel faction) -it will be much more easier .Because everybody knows how french,dutch ,eng. and span. units were dressed and armed .

    The french are not playable because the map includes only Latin America and small parts of north America.
    @KuKulzA

    The Caste War of Yucatán lasted from 1847 to 1901... afterward the Mayan rebels fought hard and skirmished fro another decade
    it started after 1810 and continued for quite some time ....so why is it a "no no", I don't see a good reason, maybe you do
    the Mayan forces armed with guns from the gringos in Belize and using guerilla tactics in their highlands, swamps, and jungles... they were tough...

    Hey I don't want to be a Viceroy,I want to play the Spanish King himself . How will I send the Armada or troops from Spain if it is not in game ? You start to disappoint me.

    The Dutch, French and British are unplayable, the Spanish and portuguese are playable, don't worry.
    @KuKulzA
    Well, I didn't know that...
    well, I think I will include a faction called "Mayan Rebels", they will be emergent.

    BTW The north of the map will reach only to California bay, and Uruguay is out.
