Cosa Nostra of course. In allegiance with the royal house of Hader.

I came very close to forming my own house just before I went inactive, due to my swiftly growing number of patronees, and the even swifter growing number of Anaeus' (think he has about 8 compared to my 10?) I was also going to offer adoption to some others... but that never came to pass!

    Edit:
Yes that's right, but he had 11, my lot were: Felix, Vɛrbalcartɷnist, joedreck, Grand Duke Vytautas, DrIstvaan, Kushan, Archaon, Skyler, Maverick and Keravnos

Then Anneus (Verbal): Averroes, Feliks, Hattori, Lector V, matko, Melboy, Pavlik the Russ, phoenix[illusion], Roy Batty, Shyam Popat and Strelac

    SlaK (Archaon) had: Hross (wow...)

    Maverick: chamaeleo, Viking Prince

    Shyam: Tankbuster, Heinz Guderian

That's all I could find, but it's suceptable to name changes. Also Tankbuster and Heinz Guderian are kind of up in the air since Shyam swapped from Ummon to Anneas so it would not be fair to count them as part of my family unless they chose to be.

I had no idea Hross and Viking Prince were part of my family, honoured to have you, both of you. Also did not know I had so many grandchildren...

I found Hross (and worked with him for a long time) back in early stages of DotS. This 'wow..' i see is no doubt all about the phenomenal amount of work that Hross puts into his projects and the unchallenged amount of PR he gives to the forums!

I am also attempting to Patronize Gaio Giulio Patrizio (maker of Res Bellicae) and I think that may have ended a few days ago but I cant see the result yet.. hmm..

Congratulations Archaon, you really are amongst the most fertile of my children, may your years be long and productive!

And yes, the wow means exactly that, I'm working with him at the moment, really a formidable force in the modding community.

Also really aprove of the new name, takes me back...

    Ah, brings back memories.

I remember when I was but a mere underling in the great House of Manji.

And damn is the House of Caesars tree out of date. By several years, I think

TC might have been one of the original Civs where patronage wasn't a requirement.

Hehe, my forum has a very similar system to TWC, and we're just getting to the point where houses are big enough to have 'family tree' style jobbies.

Does anyone know if tBP's tree has a recent version? I might make one if there isn't.

Thanks. You can still join, you would get a larger space cruiser. You would only have to quit your job as the co-founder of the House of Caesars. Not a big deal.

You already have a large ship plus several minor ships. A whole part of the fleet.

It's not well known but if Tokus Maximus wasn't such an ardent revolutionary who dismissed such things as 'patronage' but not sponsorship then The House of Baltar would now have power in the very highest corridors but the allure of a certain Wilpurian won out in the end.

His original patron is tokus maximus, but he dismissed such things as 'patronage' so I patronized HL. Later a Hex called imb39 blackmailed HL that he will ban him, unless he accepted his patronage offer. *at least that's what I keep saying to myself*

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.

Questions are not necessarily there to be answered, but possibly there to inspire thinking.

Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, - quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes.

If mind is common to us, then also the reason, whereby we are reasoning beings, is common. If this be so, then also the reason which enjoins what is to be done or left undone is common. If this be so, law also is common; if this be so, we are citizens; if this be so, we are partakers in one constitution; if this be so, the Universe is a kind of commonwealth.

Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth.

There is no chaos in the world, only complexity.
Knowledge of the complex is wisdom.
From wisdom of the world comes wisdom of the self.
Mastery of the self is mastery of the world. Loss of the self is the source of suffering.
Suffering is a choice, and we can refuse it.
It is in our power to create the world, or destroy it.

Ο Νούς νοεί τον εαυτόν του ως κράτιστος και η νόησή του είναι της νοήσεως νόησις.

'Nothing is true, everything is permitted.' is merely an observation of the nature of reality. To say that nothing is true, is to realize that the foundations of society are fragile, and that we must be the shepherds of our own civilization. To say that everything is permitted, is to understand that we are the architects of our actions, and that we must live with their consequences, whether glorious or tragic.
