“We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained, it must not break our bonds of affection. The mystic cords of memory will swell when again touched as surely they will be by the better angels of our nature.”
These guys do a lovely range of PC's, all top end parts no rubbish. If you want cheaper have a look at Mesh or Dell.
Self built PC's > Pre Built, Building yourself is alot easier than it first seems, costs a hell of a lot less and you usually end up with a superior system.
If you tell us your budget a build can be provided.
Where are you from?

All i Know is don't buy one from Eclipse computers because I did and not only was the ram faulty some git at their offices used my credit card details to buy parts for himself. Plus when I returned my PC they sent it back and the ram was still faulty said it was software charged me £200 to get it back. I then had it taken to an independent PC shop and they did tests and confirmed the RAM was knackered, I then tried to get my money back and they refused.
But I have heard Cyberpower are very good.
Drink Whiskey and you'll feel better.
Without a doubt you best course of action would be to buy the parts and then take it into a shop to have it built.
What state/city are you in?
Definitely price out and buy your parts yourself and then have a shop assemble them if you don't want to do it yourself. Start at Newegg and then go to pricegrabber.com to double check prices vs other stores. It seems some manufacturers setup rebates for one store and when they expire another store gets the same deal to offer (newegg/zipzoomfly).

This shows you the lowest prices for todays products.
What is a good site for custom-built computers? I tried newegg but they dont have that many cheap items to choose from.
"When one person suffers from a delusion it is called insanity. When many people suffer from a delusion it is called religion." -- Robert Pirsig
"Feminists are silent when the bills arrive." -- Aetius
"Women have made a pact with the devil — in return for the promise of exquisite beauty, their window to this world of lavish male attention is woefully brief." -- Some Guy
if you can't find cheap computer parts on newegg, your either not looking properly or your expecting unrealisticaly cheap prices.
Yeah Newegg is one of the cheapest out there, unless they are low on stock then their pricing goes up. Run a component model # through pricegrabber and you'll find a good selection of stores to buy from. Zipzoomfly.com tends to be pretty competitive but IMO their site sticks compared to Newegg's. I actually bought my E4300 from Dell as a standalone component because newegg was out of stock at the time.

Your best bet is getting pricing from say newegg and then go down to a local pc shop and see what they will charge you to build a pc with those parts.
It should wind up costing you less than ordering the parts and having someone put it together for you.
For around 1000 dollars you should be able to get an E6600-6700 with 2 gig of ram a 8800gts vid card and a good mobo. The pc you listed is pretty good and not bad for the price.
I have nothing against the womens movement. Especially when Im walking behind it.
That system is good except the video card is nothign spectacular, if you want a dx10 card get a 8800GTS/GTX otherwise stick with a x19xx series radeon. If you can't change the gpu the card will do fine for a year or so however the DX10 performance will probably not be fantastic.
