    Default Insert correct DVD-rom?

    Right. Here is the problem.

I have reinstalled MTW2 and patched to 1.2.

    Now I can't play!

It just complains about not having right DVD inside despite my computer definitely having it in and being valid DVD.

So what is screwed up now? I did try it with no-dvd crack, worked like a charm but I want my mouseovers... So any suggestions? Never had this problem before.

This will sound stupid...but did you put disc 1 back in after the reinstall?

The game won't boot off disc 2...

    And answer to that is...

Of course not. I was under distinct impression that MTW2 started off from disc 2.

Shows how often I switch stuff in my drive.
It works now, and I have officially made myself look even more stupid.

    Thanks!

That's impossible. Take a pic of My Computer showing Disc 2 and launch the game at the same time.
