    Default Skinning problems

Hi, I'm new to the whole skinning of units but after reading some stuff about it I thought i'd be up to the task to give some units a new texture. In this the Spartan, Armoured and normal hoplite. So I downloaded King Louise Assurbanipals hoplite skin pack and started. I created a folder called TEXTURES in the models_unit folder and put the right tga.dds files in it and also put the right .cas files in the models_unit folder. So I opened the descr_models_battle and changed the spartan hoplite .cas files to Spartan_Heavy_Hoplite.cas (this is the name of the new .cas file) and also changed the .tga to Spartan_Heavy_Hoplite.tga I did exactly the same with my armoured and normal hoplites but now when I try a custom battle it will load the battle but halfway the loading process it will just crash the game and quit the game. So I was wondering what am I doing wrong? Perhaps there are more tutorials I could learn this from? Well any help is greatly appreciated.

Try typing '-show_err' to the end of your shortcut's target line.

    Example:
    Code:
    "C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War\RomeTW-BI.exe" -show_err
When you CTD, it should then generate an error message you can use to target what is causing the crash.
