Provincial Campaign Description

Hi Guys, love your mod.

I noticed that when you select the provincial campaign and click to the next page, there is a campaign description. Can yuo tell me where this text is found as I couldn't find it anywhere, not even in the campaign_text file. The faction descriptions are there but not the campaign description.

Your help on this would be extremely appreciated.

A couple of us tried to pin down how to get the provincial campaign description working but were unable to do so, so we took the next best option as skilled coders...

We cheated.

Go to menu_english.txt in the text folder and replace the text associated with the internal tag {UI_FACTIONS_NO_DESCRIPTION} with your provincial campaign description.

You know, if you move your campaign folder under maps\campaign\custom\, then it will automatically read the description.txt in your campaign folder.

This should pretty much work on anything and grants you custom descriptions for each campaign you have.
"world\maps\campaign\custom\my_campaign\description.txt"

Yup, we know how to fix it - but we would ideally move it to the main slot and this would involve a major reworking of the LNT file which currently is not possible due to lack of staff. The custom folder might be an intermediary state, but I am not sure it is quite worth it for such a minor thing that we have a workaround for anyway...
