Where? On DVD? It finished playing on TV here in the UK a few weeks ago...
I gotta get it!
yeah, dvd
cost me $70. There is a $10 mail in rebate, however.
I got season 1 for $50, used.
GO GET IT guys. one of the greatest shows.
sux that the UK hasn't had this show until recently.
I'm just sad its done
Sooo much worse than season one...
Great show, I love it. I bought Season 1 a while ago, came to $80 with taxes. Same price for Season 2, which I bought the day it came out here. My favourite show.
If you're in America, you can get Season 2 at Best Buy for $50. But Saturday's the end of the sale. So, if you want it, you have to get it now.
P.S.
Although both seasons were freaking amazing, I liked the first season much better. Why? Because the actor who played Julius Caesar was freaking awesome.

And they replaced Octavian with a weird looking guy, I thought the original actor was better...
How many episodes are in each season?
Wrong forum, moved to The Arts and added DVD to the title.
I loved Rome but I really dont think it has much replay value, not for me to spend $50 on anyhow. If somebody I knows buys it I would copy it though.
great show great series-- they should have made more :O
I thought it was another of those much-hyped shows that I watched the first few and got bored. I gave it another try during the second season, hoping for improvement, but...
Nevermind. I'm glad some people like it, just not my thing. (ooh, I wonder what will happen??)
I thought it was a good show, but it is full of historical inaccuracies.
Why is it the last season? I heard it was an expensive show?
I thought season three would be the last one. Guess not.
I think they didn't get the ratings they hoped for compared to what the cost of making the show. Just read in the papers yesterday that there had been a fire in the studios in Italy as well.
I was hoping that series would span till Jesus got crucified (just so I could see Varus).
Anyways, I thought season 2 was more enjoyable than season 1, the scene with Titus and Cicero was a standout, and I did really like the series as a whole.
