Your units represent new and different design from what can be seen in western productions, which is a unique feature that makes Rus2 TW very special I hope we will not wait much longer for English version, after original Rus2 TW is released And of course +rep

    Nice

I can see quite a few changes for Magyars roster, so my natural question is, do you plan redoing Polish sets of units as well? If yes, I would love to give you some tips

Interesting, how many peoples here have played in Rus TW? Which features do you wish in Rus 2 Tw? Maybe, for someone mods from Eastern Europe looks really exotic. What do you wait from it - unusual units, historical exploration, special atmosphere, perfect game mechanic?

BTW, can you write down here the roster you prepared for Poland? I would like to have a possibility to comment it

Well, this roster is not bad, but could be much better. When creating roster for Poland, the major question is what the exact number of units which Poland can have is.

You must be aware, that during XI-XIIIc Polish army went through huge transformation. It happened on two areas:
    - Technologically
    - Socially

The pick of transformation in Polish army is set on year 1138, when Polish regional partition started. Till this date the most important part (which not means the largest) was duke druzhina. They were professional and most reliable on battlefield soldiers. You represented them with 3 units, which is quite fair. But before 1138 in Poland had already been nobles who also served military to their dukes, this should be represented with a separate units, which your roster lack badly. The third part of Polish armies before 1138 were peasants. The richer served mounted and could be described as yours Polish Light Cavalry. The poorer (which were the most) fought on foot with little or no armor. You put 3-4 such units, I would give some more, as especially before 1138 they were very important while repelling German invasions on Poland. Some of them (peasants) were used constantly by their dukes for castle garrisons, and they transformed to fourth part of Polish army – semi-professional servants, which were equipped by their lords (dukes or nobles) and were trained as well. I can see 2-3 such units in your roster, which in my opinion is not enough. Also I think there should be some javelin units, mounted and on foot.

After 1138y and decentralization in Poland there were few important events, which reflected on polish militarism heavily. The nobles and cities gained much more rights and power. Druzhina decreased to duke’s guard formation and now the main power of Polish army was Nobles, a bit later called knights. With cities developing rapidly, the militia formation appeared. In Poland the cities authorities had to fight mounted! The craftsmen served on foot. All Polish army was under rapid westernization. In XIIc the crossbow came to usage in Polish army – why there is no such units in roster? And again, no noble units is a serious mistake. These were not the same as druzhina, they had different status!

A very important note – please do not use dbaol as a sorce for units reconstractions! This base is full of mistakes! For example, there was no composite bow in Polish armies in XI-XIIIc – as in łucznicy książęcy picture! In Poland archers used simple bow, which was pretty big – even up to 1.6m and was produced from the same wood as the famous wales one.

Assuming you haven't seen all the screens you can put this http://imperiall.1bb.ru/index.php?showforum=9 (rus 2 homepage) into google and they auto translate it. By the way I don't think I had checked it out at all its looking great though!

They're not the best investment these days from a long term standpoint going back. I think they are in good shape going forward. They're in the housing market. I do think their prospects going forward are very solid."
