I remember the translation was not completed, so some text was translated but about half was still in Russian. It did spoil the fun to me as I can't read Russian.

actually according to the timeframe, theres actually 1 faction missing: estonians. Estonians, for example, burned Sigtuna in 1187 (fits into timeframe perfectly) and estonian-(cant remember the nation) commonfleet was BARELY defeated by danish fleet on north coast of Gotland (or öland, cant remember wich one). Estonians also pushed back Pskov forces: in 1030 Pskov forces captured south-east Estonia, but were pushed back in 1061. Estonians fought their way into Pskov gates, where estonians were pushed back. Point is, that estonians played pretty important role in baltic sea. and yes, altough estonians were divided into counties, they were still 1 nation and had similar weapons.

I know how much this is controversal, but simply calling everything north-east of Carpathians as ancient Rus lands seems equaly controversal to me

Estonians, Serbs, Croats, Mordovians, etc - they aren't present and won't be.
There is only 29 factions is available in M2TW. So main factions are present, minor factions are rebels.

I'm not talking about Croats in Adriatic but Croats in modern western Ukraine and southern Poland, the White Croats...
and as I remember they arent even rebbels

During works over Rus and Rus 2 TW some times there was an idea to create a mod about Finno-Ugric tribes during the period 8-12 centuries. We had a little discussion at our forum but anybody want to make these hard and complex work. Now when similar mods released such mod can be created, i believe.

just asking, but dont you guys want to co-operate with eras total conquest mod making finno-hungaric tribes mod? im organising it, BUT i am a bit stuck: uanime5 said, that i have to find skinners, mappers, etc.
it doesnt hurt to ask, does it?

All teammates have another work at these time.
Meelis13, you can find such guys at these forum. But the new TW game is awaiting now - thats the main problem for you. There is not so much guys who want make mod for old-fashioned game.
