what do rome total war series do you need for TTW V4.5.0????? please quick reply!!!
BI 1.6 like it says in the instructions in the download for 4.0 (which you need to have before adding the 4.5.0 patch).
I just cannot download 4.5.0 because everytime i do it does nothing? and when i drag it and put it on the rome folder it just goes in that folder, I don't know what to do?
Anyone help?
I cannot get TTW to work on campaign, ive tryed reinstalling everything, i have the download version of rome total war gold edition and ive tried deleting the map.rwm and that still hasnt worked. im getting frustrated and want to play this mod but im about to give up.
What do you mean by download version?
Even if you have Gold Edition you still need to patch it--mine came only patched to 1.4, and you need 1.6.
Have installed the patch and nothing happened. Diplomats cannot negotiate.
Can you expand the directions for installing the patch for us dummies??
Thanx
PS Great looking mod.
I have dropped the patch on the entire folder and diplomats still cannot negotiate with anyone but other diplomats or allies. Am I missing something??

I don't think this was fixed in patch 4.5
Hmm. If the download was successful and you are having trouble running the .exe check that it is the full size. If it is and you are running vista right click on it and tick run as administrator. It should download properly from the current link.
The game works fine. I just need specific instructions on how to install the patch. I tried extracting and click and drag, but all it does is just goes into the folder without replacing anything.
PLEASE HELP!
When you extract the files from the zip it will create a folder called 'Rome Total War'. Inside that folder are two more folders; 'bi' and 'data' a 'readme 4.5.0.txt' file and a 'troy.ico' file.
Simply move these to your game folder (the folder with the 'exes' in it). The game folder should already have a 'bi' and 'data' folder.
It's fairly simple.
Edited: Are you using Vista? If you are have a read of the following post - there are a few solutions in there: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=146748
I don't run Vista so I can't comment.

So I'm pretty sure I installed it correctly and I overwrote all the files as I'm supposed to... but how do you know if its installed??? I can't tell any difference? Is there any clear cut way to find out if it's installed or just some features I'll be able to notice... thx in adv. for the response
If you post back within a short while of your previous post use the EDIT key to modify your post. If you don't do that eventually the moderators will pick it up and have to merge them for you.
They have better things to do.
Maybe you skimmed that part as well (noticing if anything has changed).
