This issue is on my mind for a long time :
The capital of Al Muribitun was never Cordoba. This vanilla mistake has survived throughout the years.
With the collapse of the Caliphate of Cordoba (Umayyad Caliphate) in 1031 (those had capital in Cordoba). The lands of the Moors in Al Andalus became divided by a couple of independent taifas.
Not until the rise the Almoravids (Al muribitun) in 1086 the lands became under one rule again. The new capitol was ordered by the great leader of the Almoravids, Abu Bakr in 1061 as their former capital Aghmat had become overcrowded. And building began in 1070.
So maybe in next release this could be altered as well?
