Does anyone else find the show odd, funny, insane, hilarious, and creepy at the same time? I actually like the show, the only good show on Nickelodeon now, the rest are terrible, with the occasional Spongebob-esque weirdness in Jimmy Neutron as well, but still, not that great a show.

Yes, if you watch Spongebob with a "nasty" mind-set, it is actually more than entertaining. Lol, There are so many weird parts in Spongebob, like the one where they get the invisible spray and then at the end Mr. Krabs has the live nudes show. Also the episode where Squidward starts a marching band and later on right when they are about to go on, Spongebob starts doing that thing with his tongue.

One of the best episodes ever, Band Geeks:

    The whole song:

"The winner takes all, it's the thrill of one more kill,
The last one to fall will never sacrifice their will.
Don't ever look back on the wind closing in.
The only attack were their wings on the wind.
    Oh, the daydream begins....

And it's sweet, sweet, sweet victory, yeah,
And it's ours for the taking, it's ours for the fight,
In the sweet, sweet, sweet victory, yeah,
And the world is ours to follow....
    Sweet, sweet, sweet victory. "

    Salaam bros,

I think parents nowadays should be letting their kids watch better shows like Discovery Channel and such, instead of letting them watch stupid shows like Foster's Home or Camp Lazlo (those shows scare me sometimes, and I don't easily scare!)

I say they should turn of the TV and give them a book.

    A book?

I say we drop in a pit and let them duke it out with weapons of their choosing.
The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite. The former will be exercised principally on external objects, as war, peace, negotiation, and foreign commerce; with which last the power of taxation will, for the most part, be connected. The powers reserved to the several States will extend to all the objects which, in the ordinary course of affairs, concern the lives, liberties, and properties of the people, and the internal order, improvement, and prosperity of the State. - James Madison

I'm sorry, but after Looney Toons, everything went down hill.

However, I did have some favorites, like The Angry Beavers, Rocko's Modern Life, and etc.

Only watched one episode and suffice to say I still remember it.

It was the one where he was doing the report on what to NOT do at a Stop-light.

The other half was him and his star-fish friend in a box using "Their imagination"

That last line is stuck in my head forever.

I'm inclined to agree with you. Though Animaniacs and Hysteria was hilarious.

The last line was, "I hope he's not too down in the dumps." So why exactly did that line stick with you? lol I do not know if you found it funny, but the first episode was the funniest one to date, and Band Geeks is second cause the song at the end is completely random and makes no sense.

It wasn't that line it was when Spongebob kept saying "All you have to do to have fun is use your imagination" And he does that wave of arms and the rainbow forms over top. I have no idea why that's in my head but it is.

I watch this show. Its pretty funny, in a number of ways. It was purposely made in such a way that children and those around them can enjoy it.

Some great things are when Patrick dresses as a girl and Squidward and Krabs are hitting on him. And when they take to role of parents and Spongebob decides to dress like the mother he wants to be...

I heard complaints from some people about it in the news, about how those episodes were unacceptable. But I prefer allowing kids to see such things. Seeing a man in dress or a same sex couple is all over the place on primetime, and most kids around here know about that stuff in Grade 5. Its not like its going to corrupt them. If a boy wants to wear a dress don't blame it on Patrick doing it to hide from who he thinks is a man out to get him.
