How to change religion, banner, accent, and title of a country?
How can I change accent of units and banner of units and settlements?

The only thing I can help with is the religion bit, I would assume that you can find that faction in the descr_stat file, where it should list their religion, and just edit that bit.
If you want to use the Norman banners in the tutorial, go into data>world>campaign>norman_prologue and there should some stuff in there.

the religion isn't in descr_strat, theres an ai_label, that doesn't change religion of a country.
I want to make my own banner or use somebody else's. I don't know how to change banner, like which file to mod.

Really? I always assumed that it did. My mistake.

apparently the answer to all my questions is in descr_sm_factions.txt. cept for how to make a custom banner or where are the texture files located.

I still can't find a way to change the banner of units and settlements, accent of units, and the leader title (from duke to emperor or king and such).

To change the accents you'll need the sound text files. Put these in the data folder, edit the descr_sounds_accents.txt file and then remove the events.dat and events.idx files in the data\sounds folder. M2TW will then rebuild them the next time it's run (I would keep the existing ones because sometimes M2TW can have problems rebuilding them).

I got no sound. I moved all the downloaded sound folder into data/sounds and put events.dat and events.idx into a back-up folder but I get no sound whne game starts. How to fix this?

The text files go in the data folder rather than the data\sounds folder.

ah. trying it right now.
EDIT: Doesn't work. I put descr_sounds_accents.txt in data folder with read-only checked, and deleted events.dat and events.idx and I get no sound still. Maybe I need to add something else or delete some other files?

YES this is true everything is jacked now and no one seems to know how to simply change accents, you all just pretend to knwo and shoot off answers that don't work. Now scotland is speaking german, what a pain.
